View Full Version : Exporting an Animated face model to direct X

Hi , i'm right now working on a life like Human face for a 3D Real Time application in directX.
It's a Lip reading application for the deaf/ hard of hearing to lipread.
it's based on a bone structure that imitates the facial muscles in a realistic way, which i modelled.
I have 15 defined phonemes. ( not the usual 5 or 7 )

I'm looking for the best possible way:

1) to export from 3dMax 5 to Direct X
2) which best way to export as in morphing or into bones/skin.
