View Full Version : ambient occlusion/'skylight' ?

i havn't been able to get much out of the zbrush renderer yet (though I know it can do some nice stuff) but was wondering if theres an equivelant to Max's skylight, or a general ambient shadowing render?

and, can this be rendered to a texture? just like you can render a normalmap out of of ZBrush. It would be similar to the new cavity map - but softer ambient occlusion rather than a harsh 'heightmap' that the cavity seems to represent.
