View Full Version : A late intro and some recent work...(nudity)

Howdy. My name's Teyon and I've been modeling for about two years now (not counting Bryce works). SOme of you know me or my work already but for those of you who don't, I tend to do toons because I just love 'em to death. Lately though, I've decided to branch off to some more realistic stuff. From the work I've seen here, I'll have lots of inspriation and I know it'll help me expand my limited abilities.
This is a concept of one of my recent models and the resulting 3D model:

In the past, however, I'd do things more like this:

This nude woman will be a test for me to see how far (or not far) my skill has come. Any comments are welcome.

Hey there Logan. Earl (my avatar) is finished but I haven't started work on the rest of his gang. I decided to pause my toon work so I could beef up my non-toon skills and also completely re-design the Atrius project characters. All my models are rendered in Flamingo now and I plan on doing alot more than just nudes. I wish I'd made it in time for the last seemed like a good idea. Maybe I'll find time to do my own version on the side. Talk to ya soon.

Nice work Teyon!

Bit early for a crit on your fem, but I did notice some tension around her navel.. I had simliar problem on a head I just did - suspect some subdividing around the area will help to relax her.

Glad to see you popping out into 3D! and with great sketch skills!

Thanks for the kind words. I noticed the problem with her navel also...and does it seem low to anyone other than me? I'll be sure to fix her up but I don't think SubD is the way I can do it, my modeling program doesn't allow for it.
