I must say, this car has reached perfection. I scrutinized it in every pic on ur site and can't find anything wrong with it. I love car modeling and I am making you my new hero. Move over suurland...I really have only one question for you. How the hell do you deal with max's slowass viewports? When my car reaches 10,000 polys, it just slows down. And that's on a pentium 4 1.8 with 640 megs ram and geforce 2(also tested on geforce 4). Hope to see more of your models.

Your model is perfect, the animation is a bit too fast, but it's only a personal note, i'd choose another color and another background music, they remind me the Lewis' Maserati too much, anyway 5 stars from me

gimpgutter ...try to place over the modifier stack a meshselect or editmesh since 3dsmax 4 and 5 are seeing all objects as quad polygons, and our 3d video cards can only accelerate triangles :) And make some of your object bounding boxes:) Also if you have a geforce2 , you may try to emulate it to quadro (with softquadro)
ThirdEye_01 yes I know...I probably used the same HDRI as Lewis and Suurland :)

very nice, did you make it the same way as your tutorial, with the spline cage?
12 December 2002, 02:20 PM
Soljarag sorry I reply so late, I'm out of town :)
Yes, I started from a spline cage, and the rest is edit mesh/poly.

I finally got back from my holiday
thanks guys, I really appreciate the replies :)
HASKAN: it's not longer, the nose it's a little more aggressive than the original.
brunner: uffizy probe
actarus6: started from splines then I used edit mesh (3ds max4). I used vray since it's faster than other renderers
