I've been working on this bot for a couple months on and off making changes and upgrades here and there every time I opened the file. I'm finally satisfied with the design and I'm moving on to a new chraracter now. This was modeled and rendered in Cinema4dxl 7.

very nice design and rendering looks awesome, did u create in 2D first and turn it into 3D?

Thanks Minyusf. I did create it first in 2d but the sketch contained no detail. Only primitive shapes and forms. I leave all the detail for the modelling phase.

neat little robot. What are all of the huge antenies for? It would seem that they would get in the way of whatever that bot does for a living, unless they are needed for communications.

I figured him to be a special ops design so the antennae would be for communication. They're totally detractable so they won't be a mobility issue. He's just showing off right now.

excellent composition. His stance, the colors, perfect reflective floor.. not too much. not to little.. the anntenna fill that space to the top right...nice choice of fonts down bottom as well... you obvisouly have a wide range of skills. Thats nice to see around here. Keep it up!

It's hard to see the outline of him/her.
