Not bad, but I think there are too many polys in details that should be done in the texturing eg. the belt of the backpack or the structure at the front of the boots. Use these polys to detail the head.

I agree. I mean, the model looks pretty good, but whay the extruded crosses on the shoulders? Should'nt they be done with maps?

Well I dissagree. Is a UT2k3 mod and default models set at 3k for UT2k3 so this is fine, and well done. So far I've seen very little hit for chaacters 4k or less so if you want extruded crosses do em. :buttrock:

you've done a very nice job, and the extruded stuff looks just like the concept.

I have to agree with 3dZealot and sychobob. The UT2k3 engine may allow a higher polygon count that the model currently has, but those polys wasted in the crosses could be used somewhere where they would be more productive, like the hands or the head and still have the 2978 poly count. And besides why would the crosses stick out anyways? in the concept it looks like cloth badges to me.
Swoma- the model looks very nice. The only thing I don't like is here wrist in the middle picture, it looks like here arm goes straight into a hand. From the front view it looks good, but it looks too thick from a side view.

personally i like seeing the belts and details modelled in there
i mean sure, you could just use a texture, but then it looks too flat
details like that only add about 100-150 polys if u model them right, and its worth it in the end
the boots are kinda iffy with me, i mean they add to the model but onle if ur looking from the side(and usually u see people straight on or at a 3/4 view)
but still a gj :)

About the extruded crosses, coz thats how they were sopposed to be, and coz they look cool, they are very simple and dont waste too much polies. :bounce:
