View Full Version : random uv polygroup from max

Im sure this is a basic mistake on my part but when exporting obj from max into z brush the uv polygroups dont represent anything like the different uvw maps on max model.
My model is a figure with arms ,torso, head etc seperatley uv mapped then welded together.
Im sure im exporting correctly ( from practical guide). Each timr i try with different options the
zbrush poly groups are of the same faces each time . But not the correct ones .
can anybody help. Thanks

thanks Ryan. Thats exactly what it was, uv regions. Something i had never seen before.
I had found a great thread explaining it at pixologic website.
