View Full Version : Using .map files over a mixed network

Hi all. I have a question for you and hope someone can shed some light on it for me. I was wondering how go about using the .map files I create on my Mac over a network render that has both Macs and PCs on it?

My understanding is that since the bit order is different on the two systems I would need to create seperate .map files for each system which is easy enough, but how do I get the PC to use the PC version if I start the network render from my Mac? Where do I put the files on the PC to have MR Sat find it on that machine? Is this even possible since the file paths are defined within the Maya scene and point to the files on my Mac?
