Hi, I created a spline and want to change color when the spline become over stretch. Like what Paul Neale did in his Rigging DVD. I thought he did a demo on his DVD, but I can't find it, can anyone help?

Is it possible to change the color of the bone base one the length of the IK spline curve? I tried to modify the script and the scale turn to zero. Which cost the whole IK chain to disappear. Here is what I have on the scale bone of one of the spine bone:

DependsOn $IK_Spline_Line
rag=(color 100 100 100)
dis=(curvelength $Ik Spline_Line)
rag.hue = (orgLen - dis)+90

[1, 1, 1]

First off read up on the mew Max 8 script controllers as you don't need dependsOn if you are using them right.

Where are you adding the script controller to?

to the nub bone of the spine, I am using Max 7 right now to set up the rig. I got it to work using the 2 point helpers for the distance, but how do I accelrate the speed of the color changing? I have to drag one point a hundred unit away in order for it to turn completely red! Thanks!
