View Full Version : updating uv info from maya to z

I made a mistake by creating multiple uv maps in maya ,then i went in and sculpted my mesh,then tried to out put a displacement map but gave me a high out put of 3. with my image just a grey blank.

ive tried to output the mesh back into maya and deleteing my uvs and reasigning a single map with automapping.

Back into zbrush ,change to lower sub d and import new mesh nothing changed but with new updated uvs.

It updates uvs when i check uvs ,then i test output displacement,it gives me no change and a the same 3. output with the single map 0 2 1.

Is there a way to update and output my mesh without starting from scratch?
