View Full Version : Compositing: 3D Live Video For McDonald's
12 December 2002, 10:21 PM
These are some images from the commercials that I have just
finished for McDonald's Latin America.
Footage - 35mm,
3D - Maya
Compositing - Discrete Effect
Disney's Treasure Planet Happy Meal
Mirimax Pinniccio Happy Meal
McDonald's Dollar Meal
- I was hired on a freelance basis to create the 3d elements
and create rough composite comps. We had about 2 weeks
to finalize all effects. (Sound Familiar.......)

hey good job on getting the contract...................do McDonalds really look like that in Latin America?

Eek, Mc'D... I worked there once one school year, awful shit happened in there, believe me... They didn't give me time off to study, so I gave 'em the finger in return. As much as I hate McDollars, thumbs up to the good animation!

I really enjoyed your DemoReel. It would have been a nice joke if the flying bug thing pulled out the electricity plug at the very end of the reel with the result of the screen going blank... :D

actually the bug footage was a short film that i worked on
and the film ended by the bug pulling out the power to my
computer and that ended the film. ill try and mix that in
at the end of my reel.
thanks for your comments
