I've been asked quite a bit to put up a tutorial on how to do a stretch set up.
So here it finally is, a strechy leg for Maya.

I've put two similar tutorials up. Once is a little bit more basic and is created with an expression. The other is more advanced and is done by creating condition nodes. So you'll need to have a better understanding of nodes and the hypergraph in general.
