Well, for one idea I was going to draw our family on christmas day, when we are all wearing identical pajama bottoms my mom buys every year... which is actually very similar to the "5 chars wearing same clothes" one.
But an even weirder thing our family does on christmas (the extended family of about 50+): we start with a sheet of bland wafer which looks like paper. Each of us finds another person, rips off a bit of the wafer, and exchanges them as well as christmas greetings. We then eat the bit of wafer. :D
That's the only one that sticks out in my mind at the moment... hopefullly later I can come up with something better

This was a pretty tough one (conceptually). I spent most of the day juggling ideas; everything from a family of sorcerers, to mad scientists, to vampires. I finally settled on pirates. I studied the ship from Treasure planet, then ended up pretty much making up something on the fly. It's funny, but my first reaction to the topic is always, "what?! What the heck am I going to do with this?" But in the end, there are no bad topics only poorly conceived interpretations.
Anyway, the total time was about 1.5hrs.
Keep 'em coming.

welcome "The Branch" to the DSG, its cool that you captured the action in the shot.
quick question i know about blue pencils in animations but why red as well ? or is it so you have scan with out red too?

Thanks, but it's actually just "Branch" lol.
There isn't a real animation-related process to the way that I draw. I usually start a composition with Col-Erase red because it's light and easy to erase. Then when I start nailing it down, I switch to blue and then black for final lines.
I'm not recommending it as a process, I'm still trial-and-erroring it.

K so i did a short series type thing for this
didnt take long, make 2.5 hours in ps for all of it.
sorta comic like i guess.
"Howdy New Neighbor."
"We got you this present... It is our traditional 'welcome to the neighborhood', so i hope you like it..."
"AAAAAAA!" (face hugger?)
".... I love you honey."
so it is a little random but i was bored at work and found myself doodling this little thing and i finished it in photoshop later.
i was going to finish with an outside view of the neighborhood which would be filled with dark houses and only one with and signs of life (lights and stuff), and this might have tied together the images a bit more around the theme of "family traditions"... but i got a little lazy...
i apologize for this taking up sooooo much space..

gota try and get something in no matter what. so heres my no-time version. took me about 10 minutes, it was actualy difficult to draw suprisingly because of the extream angle. Gota love stick people. I know i do. :)

Just before drawing this picture i did a small research, just to find out how the 'famous' lemmings look like, and i found this Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemming) link with all the explanation I need :)
Well, let's just say that the image was inspired by 'Lemmings', and old classic game 'by Microprose, not by their real behaviour :)
