Assuming a Universal version of ZBrush will be released, is there a timeline for it's release?

Who said anything about a universal version of zbrush? Are you talking about the next version? or one version that is the same for macs and pc? Could you describe what you are asking in more detail?

One that works natively on an Intel Mac.

hmm, I guess I don't know enough about macs / have an answer. They have zbrush for macs and for pc. Thats all I know.

Yeah, with the introduction of the Intel Mac all apps for it will have to be what they call Universal Binary as opposed to PowerPC.

Cinema 4D (the main 3D app I use) has already released a Universal version. Adobe said they will realease Universal apps on their next upgrade cycle.

Guess I'll just wait for an announcement...

Pixologic are on the ball so I imagine they'll have this issue addressed in the near future...

On the ball? As in almost 3 months late with 2.5? :) jk yeah pixologic is an awesome company I would assume they are addressing this, hey might even by a reason as to the delay, who knows, we sure don't.

I agree Bobzilla - Cinema is great on my MacBook pro but zBrush won't even run - it is the only app I have that won't run on the new machine - hope it is not a long wait.

I wish they release the PC version if it is ready before the Mac version.
