hello... i have a little question regarding 3dtextures in maya > so here goes: no matter what settings i try the texture looks as if repeated. what should i do/tweak/set in order to get it to look more 'fractalish' ? i've tried this with multiple textures but all look like this...
btw, i'm trying to use this texture to drive the bump channel of an shader to get it to look like some sort of polished metal > if you have knowledge of better ways to achieve this then please share some...
