I'm trying to practice sketching directly on the computer, without using the scanner...

elmasfeo: Really nice sketch. The hat gives a nice touch.

Uhmm.. yeah, the head looks pretty weird but.. oh well. I have no idea how long this took me. I was chatting on messenger, watching tv and painting a few strokes every now and then.

My entry. A play off an old Far Side cartoon.
Photoshop, about 2-3 hours.

thdagger: I love your loose brushy strokes and your colors! I've always loved the way folks can make so much form with just a few strokes.... what program did you use?

elmasfeo: Great sketch!

These are all so funny!

03-01-2006, 02:04 PM
I know it's shoddy, and to make life easier i defined 'gun' as 'thing that shoots projectiles' :p

5 minutes ballpen :D
20 minutes in gimp... wasn't supposed to take this long..

Like ernii's and twisterchash's take :o

DJ - "that kind of dinosaur" can be that dinosaur is often slang for a very old person, also sometimes called an old fossil, Methusela, gramps, old fogey, old fart, ancient, decrepit, etc...
or for reference, ME! :scream:
