Here's something I did a while back. Quite a bit different than my personal work but still fun. I tried to stylize this as much as possible while remaining true to the client's wishes. Textures were painted by Kelly Standard (she kicks ass!).

Not to put your modelling down, but that texture is killer. The jeans look great. How long to completion on this project?

I agree the textures really blew life onto the model.
what software do you use man?
Think I smell 3DSMax.

Thanks for the comments everyone and I agree completely! Kelly's textures are what makes this worth viewing. She's amazing. I'm sure she'll be happy to hear all your kind words! Thanks again.
Yep, Done in Max.

Excellento! Great figure modelling wrapped in a charming texture (altho the cap texts is off I think).
I notice some jaggy polys, did you intend to keep them low?
Anyway have you rig & animate him yet?

Very cool! I like the stylized look. I think it would be great if he was wearing one of those "8 ball" jackets. All signs point to LOSER! ;-)

That's an incredible texture you've got going on there!

I know that guy, lol. He looks like my dad.

Excellent.. ready for motorbike ? :)

I really like this model! He is just a very appealling character and his look really descibes personality!
The outer edge of his eye where his brow extends down to his cheek looks to have quite a large drop. It is all in his style but in my opinion it would look better and retain his look if it was smoothed out a little bit.
Very Cool Model and Texture:thumbsup:

good stuff! maybe bigger hands...
i'm lovin' the textures! they definetly make this model stand out. the beard, jeans... kinda looks canadian eh?
Standard Texturing....an idea for her company/logo someday when she makes it big(if she hasn't already)....just an idea....

very good work:beer:
but i think the legs are way too short

The face is very nicely done, good expression. Adding that to my collection:buttrock:
but.. he looks like a middle aged washed up jock who sits around and drinks beer all day long and talks about his old days as a football star, but now he works cleaning toilets and stuff.
Great, great model

Anyhow, great work

Thanks again everyone! I'll make sure Kelly get's all you kind words!
Had to stay within a certain poly budget. Can't really say if this is rigged or animated yet. ;)
That's exactly what the client wanted.
Yep, took som liberties with the proportions. I don't think the legs are to far off though. Navel to toes is about 2/3 his full hieght.
Haha, LOL. The ass is Kelly's doing. She tinkered with the model a little back there while painting the textures to get a better fit. :)
