View Full Version : LScript - exposing render settings for scripts

I am writing a script to automate a breakdown procedure for multiple render passes. (Buffer Export and similar choices doesn't give me the matte control I need) For me to set this up effectively, I need to be able to change the RGB Saver settings from exr to tga 24 and others and then save out my scenes.
However, I can't find the commands to set the saver anywhere.
Does anyone know how to expose these settings (basically everything under render options)?
CommandInput ("RGBImageSaver _Targa");
as a direct copy from the scenefile text, but it doesn't work.

I don't think you can. At least in the work I've done on a similar project, I had to rely on the user setting the extension AND turning on the 'save images' checkbox. From there, I could change the name of the file, but I couldn't change the extension.
Might be worth checking if you can in the 9 preview SDK - and if not, request it :)
