View Full Version : PVD in premiere?

I'm aware this might not be the perfect place to ask this question, but I need to know.

Is there any plugin for premiere that alows me to read PVD-files?

I made a reel while attending a school, and now all I have uncompressed is these PVD-files. I'd like to be abel to open them or convert them into avi or mpeg files so I can use parts of it in my new reel.

Is PVD from a PVR? Been a while since I used one, but it sounds like it is.

Check this page out on DPS's site(guys who make the pvr):

There are downloads for a couple apps that might be able to read your file.

These two stand out:
This program is to allow the user to click on a PVD, AVI, HVD, or any DPS specific file type and open it instantly thru FileManager, or Windows Explorer. Premiere Direct Compile Plug-ins

Hopefully they don't require the hardware to run.
