ive figured out how to get the uvwcoordinate on the object but havent figured out how to access that coordinate on a dynamic procedural gradient map i have as a texture on the object.
using bitmap() doesnt really help unless i render the gradient animation
what methods are there to access procedural texture color values at given uv coordinates?
all help greatly appreciated.
The point of all this is to get the appropriate light color for the lights that cycle along a path on the surface of this (http://users.evtek.fi/%7Eanttiol/current/testrender2_BeroeForskalii.jpg) creature.
