Very very nice way to catch us off guard with the topic.

Yes, I've seen a lot of this but no one so good. Very cool. Waiting for the texture.

If it wasn't for the title I wouldn't have looked, I would have missed out! Excellent job modeling, if you texture nearly as well as you model that will be amazing!

great model...what program did you use?

Thanks alot, people. I model in Lightwave (metanurbs), but I usually texture in 3DSMax out of old habit. I'll post an update when/if I texture it!
I can't shake the feeling that there is something wrong with the eyes, what do you think? (I know it's hard to tell, since it's a shadow there, but the size, location and so on)

He is perfect. As for the eyes the only thing i see is that there are not curved enought in the y plane. The eyelids should be in continius touch with the eyeball wich now looks almost like a plane! Can i have a closer look of the eyes?
Excelent overal work:D

Thanks again! But there must be something that could be better?
Ok, here is the wireframe of the head and a close-up of the eyes. Hope it helps. (And yes, there are 102 triangles in this mesh, before you comment on it. :) )

i apologize for being too lazy to draw a pic.
your problem is indeed with the eyes.
imagine an ortho from above...
looking down on the eye, you would want to select the eyelid and associated polys, and rotate them counter clockwise around the axis of the eye ball. The corners of the eye should not rest on a plane parrallel to the xy plane as they are currently.

Wops, what a face! It seems heavy, full of meat, if you understand what i mean. I canīt help to pinch him on the cheeck.
I think perhaps the eye corners should be lesser and more backwards, but itīs a minor fact in that wonderful face.
