I am new here and am just finishing VFS' visual effects stream at the moment.
This is my first time doing anything cg so comments and crits are more than welcome :)
Here is my reel (it is on a rather slow VFS mirror, sorry for the trouble)
http://student.vfs.com/~3d55davio/cgt.mov (http://student.vfs.com/%7E3d55davio/cgt.mov) (right click, save as) 11.3 mb
update: my original file was way too big for people to download so the new file
is way smaller than before.

Heya Davido ~ my great friend.... Super Job on your demo reel, by the way. I've been a little out of the loop lately, (busy girl) but had to post for your reel. What you accomplished in such a short amount of time was truly remarkable. I am amazed at how fast you put this demo reel together. You are so talented when it comes to technical stuff - you are well on your way to becoming an FX TD.... as well as an FX Compositor I spose. Well, GREAT JOB ICE D and MUCH LOVE!!! You better stay in touch or I'm gonna dig a hole to Iceland and beat you up, haha, eek, just kidding, dont hurt me. Mwahaha. Seeya Lata Dude.

Sorry I didn't get around to commenting on your piece sooner. It was kinda at the bottom of the pile by the time I signed up to CGTalk. :)
Great work, D. It would have been awesome if you could have done that closeup shot too, but of the shots you did do, it's like "OK. And when are we going to see some CGI?" :D
Good luck in Houdini. I'm sure with your experience you'll be one of the exponents of that class. It was great knowing you in 3D55, even when you were acting like your father... You know what I'm talking about. :p I'm gonna miss you man. Take care and keep in touch.
