Well I was a bit stuck for ideas today - but she is dangerous if she gets going :D
I did check up on this, and although you will often see male elephants charging, the females will do it equally ferociously - especially when protecting their calves.
Started in Artweaver then moved to PS. Total time 30 mins

LARGE VERSION (http://members.lycos.nl/oldentower/bestanden/sketch619_ShesDangerous_big.jpg)
Photoshop - about 3 houres
After a veeeery long time doing no speedpaints, I really got exited today to do one! Between sketch 123 and 619, I got some time to practise. I did allot (speedpaint) conceptsketches for the CG-challenges, and also on allot other projects. Also I have lessons in 'product visualisation' now (as I study Industrial Design), so I also learned allot over there.
Unless the sketch didn't really turn out in the way I wanted, I think it gots some shading/rendering that I haven't done before. I seem to get a better feeling for 'how to shade things in 2D', and that's really cool and it shows progression. :) Also I've already planned to participate the next CGTalk challenge with (only!) a 2D-entry, so this is nice to test my current skills.
I really enjoyed participating again, and I hope to find some time more often, so that I can practise more! :)
About the previous posts:
MartinG: That looks really cool! It reminds me of 'Sin City', and I think you meant it to be, isn't it?
Zyrinx: Funny image! Its cool that you used Artrage, as you can really nice see the relief of the brush, which is always cool!
Overchord: Wow man, that's a brilliant executed image! Highly original to nót think about 'babes-with-boobs' imidiately! ;) I really have respect for the fact you did it in 30 minutes, especially after finishing my 'thingy' in over 3 houres!
Silverwyvern: That's a very cool, funny image! I like the 'quick-sketching' look of it!
Dargon: Really nice painted, with nice look and so! The fake of shading (especially 'subtle' things, like specular on the bed) on this sketch looks really good!
the_nr: Nice painting, with a nice facial expession. I also like the dress! :scream:
kevinwalker: That's a very impressive one! From the one side very funny, on the other side it's just the 100% reality! You painted down a great character with very great chacterism!
bastardme: That's a cool sketch, especially because you thinked of 'something different then us'. To me it took some seconds to understand why you posted this image, but now I understand it, it really looks like well-thought! :)
