Pretty cool, I think he needs alittle mroe color though.

Love the model, lots of character. But somehow it reminds me of a cartoony adult, instead of being a cartoony teenager.

How about giving him maybe sneakers or tennis shoes (or Converse All-Stars) to go with the tux to make the character a bit more like a teenager?

Anyways, great job with the model.

Remi, yeah, prolly the tuxedo needs to be a bit darker. I haven't seen any bump mappings on any of your models yet... just in case you have not somehow "decided not to use them", a fabric bump/clip map (subtle at that) would be worth a try

DAMN you fast Remi:applause:

I like his smiley pic. You really have talent in smiling face:)
Bout his face's texture If youre gonna keep this colour I'd say go with freckles(is that what you call the brown spots on cheek about below eyebags area?) His irises could be more attractive if you dont care about render time. Oh yea just for fun perhaps you can give him different colour shoes? Or even different colour suit?Or just add some more definitions on those areas?

Anyway have I told you that you're damn fast and really good with smile?

Goodwork

Turned him into a waiter......

12-10-2002, 11:34 PM
guess he wants to be an actor...

or animator:p

12-10-2002, 11:37 PM
damn this is great work! I ddin't even see it in the WIP section lol! amazing dude. Can't wait to see a movie of him and your cowboy having james bond <-> cowboy gun battles or something

12-11-2002, 12:12 AM
Wait, so let me get this straight. You made a box with lots of sides and vertices and just pushed the polygons and verticies around to make him?
He's really great. Good job!

12-11-2002, 02:23 AM
Now if I was a teenager again what would I be doing..??

Make him indulging in some hallucagenics.. heheh swirly black pupils sitting on his but looking up at the sky. :)

I like your characters, cartoony and simple. I like your cowboy, he was happy. HAPPY CG!!!!!!!! CUTE CG YESSSSSSSSS
Nice job

Looking forward to more Remi!

Basic box modeling adding geometry where it's needed....he was originally made for a prom animation...I will be modeling a girl for him later looking for the wip.....

12-12-2002, 02:29 AM
Quick walk cycle....might make a little short animation with him...I'll post if I do...

12-12-2002, 02:42 AM
ROFLMAO....that waiter one is great, I really like the way his had deforms to hold the pencil. Great job on the modeling. The only thing I would crit on this character is his hair and eyebrows intersect.....I found in the close up of the face it kind of distracted me and took away from the overall quality of the Model. Great work all the same!

12-12-2002, 08:21 AM
the walk needs a bit more sway in it. the sideways motion seems a little stiff, if you know what i mean. and the head could do with a little bit of motion too. part from that looking good Remi, but wheres my geeky teen and his sexy porm date gone;) good work.

12-13-2002, 11:13 PM
totally missed this one...great job!

12-13-2002, 11:32 PM
:D hehe, I like his depressive look, even thou he's smiling :D
Yep, he's a teenager, good job on this!

12-14-2002, 01:26 AM
