View Full Version : Paint soft bind weights on CPS character

I'm trying to do my whole character sculpt and rig using CPS pluggin.
Everything is working great! I've got it all sculpted and have soft bound the bones to it, no problem.

Just one minor hang up...
Does anyone know how to make cpsBase polygon model visible so that I can paint bind weights on it?

It's kinda hard to paint the weights without the black & white visual feedback.

If I remember correctly, CPS uses layers to turn the base mesh to wire frame. To make it solid simply alter the layer display attributes.

As Mr. Burns would say, "Exxxxcellent!"

I didn't think about checking the layer attributes section. Once the shading is checked on it becomes visible for weighting.
