View Full Version : Tafa

Quite some passed since McReiter releases "T.Albees Facial Animation". But yet I did not read or hear a thing about it. Probably it's just me, but I start to wonder: Is actually _anyone_ using that tool? =P

As an amateur my time schedule is incredibly tight. So I'm quite interested to use "Tafa" as "time-generator". Technically I need to know if "Tafa" is in any way attached to lightwave (or it's dongle) or if I can use it totally independent (so I can use it on my laptop while traveling by train).
Furthermore I need to know if there is any truth about that rumor about a light version. That would be quite handy because yet I just can't afford the "full" version. =P
- Or maybe someone in my area would allow me to use his machine for a weekend or two? ;)

All replies are appreciated!

Kind regards,

PS: A word for excuse: Yes, I know there has been a quite similar thread already. But thats already a couple of month ago and the situation might have changed.

Tafa is an indipendent app. quite excellent. The licence is it own. It was originally designed to work on one machine only, but you could transfer the license to another machine. But as soon as you did that you could no longer use it on the old machine or re-install it there either. Mac has since updated the license to run on multiple machines but I have not tested it out. There is a dedicated dissussion forum at
