02 February 2006, 12:31 AM
Wow, just really amazing!
Out of curiosity, do you ever use reference, or are all of your figures from the imagination? :)
02 February 2006, 02:44 AM
Like the way your doing that fabrc,...great expressions also,..and skin ect. ect...
Is that Tom Cruise in that vampire movie he made a few years ago..I never saw it, but
am just curious...:)
02 February 2006, 06:17 AM
Rebeccak hahah thanx rebecca, nope not for 7 years now i havent used photo or any other references, i guess its mostly because i have a rather analythic approach to painting and also i never underestimated often overseen importance of construction, also many of thee rules i learned while dabbling in 3d..believe it or not looking for the perfect render kinda makes you realise just what is it that one is looking for in a picture in order to make it look beleavable,
the basic rules are
D- material properties..basicaly all 3d stuff lol
Spirit Dreamer...:bounce: bahahah tom cruise..thats supposed to be meee!!!:D ...not really a succesful attempt hahahahahahha:thumbsup:
02 February 2006, 07:17 AM
yeah neb!now u surprised me~:scream:looking real good
02 February 2006, 03:10 PM

I tried worked after your blender tool and again somewhat in addition learned (few Results you can see in my anatomy thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=317799)). Now I have an impudent request: I would see more from your sketches/doodles. Would it be possible that you sometimes open a new thread "figure drawing - doodles"? What I mean is not the perfect result, but the preliminary work.
Big thanks for your helpfully tutorials and for wonderful art.
02 February 2006, 02:58 AM

Icey haha thanx man i appreciate the support
sh@ke haha michael..mm tempting..to actually show geos...arrggghhh..the temptation...
damn it..ah well here is a page from my graphic novel which is out this summer..its a 10 issue saga, each issue is 100 pages long..and all done like this
02 February 2006, 04:07 PM
don't do much work with scans etc., me goes it only around to see how - (in simplest way) you design faces and figures. (Digital doodles are even so well.) My auxiliary lines, face lines, for faces look bent and inclined. I must repair everything then through coloring and this seem to me in the long term like a "bungle" work.
However, no matter, I look forward to everything which you will show. :)
What? 10 x 100 pages with this great pictures from you? O my God. There you have still another quantity to do and we hold you here... :D
When the graphic novel is done, I'll buy it.
02 February 2006, 06:33 AM
Ravena woohoo thanx, nah its fun to submit here its a great comunity and anyways it takes jusat a little of my time so it aint a big deal..today when i get home ill post some construction work, i hope ull find it helpful

02 February 2006, 09:13 AM
I checked out ur other pencil work in the concept thread, and again bro, draw more in traditional medium ,it really does looks hella nice!
02 February 2006, 11:22 PM
ah nebz your a crazy dope artist. Props on those pencil sketches. Unfortuneatley the way that anyone will get hired is if they are exploitable talent. If your boss can't make money off of you whats the point. But at least your there man. First step to going indy. Im sitting in my basement doodling and hungry.
What im trying to learn right now is how to standardize my figures so i can draw them from my imagination.
Im gonna post some of my stuff soon. But its bad man. Ppl lose skill when they look at it so be warned.
I think everyone here is a comic fan.
Some of my favorite artists:
and so many more
you will prolly be on that site soon nebz :D
02 February 2006, 06:29 PM
