The swedish company Tussilago (feature film, documentary and commercial productions) produced a 3d animated short film called Munchy Monday (Barnkalaset in swedish).
Total lenght is appx 8 minutes and only a short part of it can be found on their site.

Quite a lot of friends and former co-workers worked on it and they asked me to post the trailer here..
I really really like it! The feel of it is great! :)

Check it out and let them know what you feel about it.

Hey man,

I agree with you that the style is great! Very fun to look at and your characters designs are visually appealing.

The animation is lacking some areas though....the motion applied to the girl's hair isn't consistent throughout the trailer, and some of the other overlap isn't snappy enough for the rest of the spot. Also when she's being backed into the corner, the hand that she's leaning on appears to be floating above the ground ;)

But that doesn't detract from the fact that this is still a very unique piece...good luck at your screenings!

Hi guys and girls,

thanks for the good critic. We had a really good show at the movie festival, people where actually laughing :)

The production of this 8 minute movie was done in 5,5 months, that includes script revising and full animatic. Not much time, but we had a lot of fun. The last month we worked super hard, rendering like ... well.. like little render monkeys! And then compositing in AE(the movie has one layer of color and another of ambient occlusion). Right now we are putting togheter a more finetuned version, basicly fixing stuff that just didn't come out right from render(like the hair that stopped animating :) ).
I also wanted to share some of the concept art I created for the characters(soon I'll put all of them up on my website).

Hi folks!
Heres some renders of a couple of characters I made for the short, based on The Almighty Klaus's concept art. I had alot of fun making them. Hope you'll enjoy them as well!
