YAY! Thanks for the support everyone! the next episode is coming along. It's much more ambitious than the first. I lost a couple monthes due to having to find a new job and relocate but I'm back at it now. I'm gonna lose a couple weeks for christmas (Family is important) but hopefully, I'll have it ready early next year (wish I could work on it full time but I gotta pay the bills you know). I'm very happy with it so far and I'm in the final stretch of production.

As for a tutorial, well,... the crystals aren't all that straight forward. Basically I just modeled a couple crystals, stuck an omni light inside them then spent 20 hours or so tweeking the lights and shader settings till they looked good. Lot's of dead time waiting for test renders. The shader is raytrace with refraction and transparency color. Then I did a glow on them in post. Not as good as a tutorial but hopefully helpful.

Anyway, thanks again everyone. I'm working on the next one as fast as I can. Just a few shots left to do. :)

Wow, anticz! This is great!

I've seen the first episode some time ago and was deeply impressed.
Never before had I seen somebody put so much fantasy and love into his own little story. Apart from the technical part (which is almost perfect) your Characters are simply cute! It's just impossible not to love them!

Congrats! Your work is really inspiring!

For those who didn't: Visit! It is a great page!
