A quick pair of headphones done on cinema 4d, i'll render bigger versions upon request... took me about an hour and a half start to finish, C&C is welcome.

i gotta ask u though something: how the hell do you work on cinema 4D?? i downloaded it a while ago (version 7) to see what its all about & i must say its probably the lousiest 3D program i've seen... i might be wrong, but i'm fairly sure i'm not....

I feel cinema 4d is much easier than anything ive tried... i could never get the hang of lightwave, the two layouts, a not very good undo function... and maya and max, werent bad, but the cinema layout is much better/more customisable, and it also does have a wonderful render engine, and in R8, the modelling tools are imo better than in more pricey packages. but that's just my opinion...

How's lw:s undo bad? Headphones looks neat, but the image is quite dark. Maybe you could turn specular a little bit, adjust lightning or change texture little brighter...

That high-res image looks pretty good. But you should change lighting, with the headphone being all black it's very hard to see any details in the modelling and shading.

ah.. looks like Shade was faster than me :)

This is what I meant, now it looks so much better.
The main thing you should work on is the texture on those soft things that surround the ears (don't know what they're called).
Looks like a bad case of uv stretching on the sides.

Apart from that my compliments.
