Nice reel edimunster!
Animation could be worked on but I think your concept art, sketches, designs and texturing is good and interesting I really liked it. It works great with the Gorillaz song. good job!

Slimz- Thanks man! Hope to see your stuff when u finish!

Ranimate- Thanks dude! I agree that some shots need animation work... It was really hard to figure out a scheadule. Some shots took longer to achieve than others for example, the sand effects took more time than anticipated. I know its no excuse:sad: but, I am just glad to see the final piece completed. I don't know if I'll go back to fix it (been looking at it for toooooooo loooooonnnngggg) but never say never.
As for the song, it was really cool to animate to... it had a nice steady beat and it is catchy too...I definitely enjoyed that part a lot!

So... Thanks again for the C+C's!

Esteviezer- thanks man!...I try to vary with the styles a little (in drawing) but I have a tendency to do anime and comic book styles most of the time. I will say that when it comes to shading, I definitely enjoy pencil and paper over any drawing tool.

thanks again!

Yo Eddie! It's Fred. I just want to congratulate you managing to stay alive on coffee alone. Your thesis came out great! I love what you did with the sand and I especially like the car sequence.

Oh One thing... Don't forget me when you get to Cali!

Take it easy!

Whats up man!,
How's married Life?!, Thanks for the C+C's dude. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I am living with my cousin's family and she doesn't have internet bro!....very brutal! I am on the job hunting process. What sucks is the response time these things cause you don't know when or where people are going to contact you. Not to mention the added pressure of the one year permit doesn't make it easier.

So...bro don't worry...the way my job hunt is going... I think youl get to cali before me. Well dude, thanks again for the c & c's and keep in touch man!

Nice job man! Sorry to sound a bit repetitive but I really think this project just shines in it's character animation. It really peaks in the full body motion of the turtle as he begins his heaving, tired walk. My jaw hit the floor laughing at how cool and funny that looked. I also think the still moments of minimal facial animation (while not quite as strong as the full body stuff) was still very fitting and worked well given the whole cartoony look of the piece. Great stuff man!

Doogfei-thanks man..the tired walk for the side shot was even in the storyboards but my teacher said it needed one. I was a pain to set up the ground for it. I just used cycles but it also needed animated textures for the ground sand drag to work...needless to say it was a pain but I am glad it worked out. Thanks again Dude!

Zack Attack- I hope I wont have a is getting hard to enter the industry now a days. Thanks for the c&c's.
