View Full Version : Mirroring textures

Is it possible to mirror textures painted in the projection master? I've searched this to try and find answers because I think it must be a pretty common thing, but so far I haven't seen a way of doing it. Is there?

I'm painting a bump map at the moment, and at the moment it seems that I either have to paint the entire model, which is ok because at least I'll get a nice asymmetrical bump, or paint half and mirror it in photoshop later, which is still a bit of a pain, or subdivide the mesh to a very high level, and paint deformations onto it.

other than using double sided in PM. The only way I have seen it done is doing it in photoshop. if you use the Zapplink however its really not that big of a pain in the arse. :)

The only thing you can do to mirror texture is: once you have made the texture in PM you can use the MRBGZGrabber to pick up the half texture and after in the texture panel you can clone and then flip and rotate to get the other half to work in then.-
