Nintendo has collaborated with Shigureden, a theme park in Kyoto, to operate and promote their “Ogura Hundred Poems By Famed 100 Poets” exhibit. The featured poems are famous pieces of Japanese history and literature.
Nintendo cooperated on a interactive exhibition in which the floor contains illuminated pictures. You can walk around with a special NDS without any buttons, using only the touch screen to control the NDS. The NDS is used to give information about what you see on the floor and gives you an interactive tour through the exhibition.
And if you remember (http://www.4colorrebellion.com/archives/2004/12/03/nintendo-starts-in-house-animation-studio/), at one point Nintendo, well specifically Yamauchi, stated that they were starting an in-house animation studio (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/11/30/news_6114155.html) and their first project was probably going to be related to the 100 Poems. I wonder what ever happened to that?
