View Full Version : clusters for facial animation

01-17-2006, 05:53 PM
hi all

I have a serious problem with the clusters uses in facial animation

like one advised it to me in other post, I use the clusters for the eyelids animation.

all work correctly in bind pose, but when I start animation, (shoulders displacement for example)
my eyelids crash.
see the illustrations :
details :

clusters is apparented to head joint.
the pose off closed eyelids is recorded in set keys.

however, I turned on the "relative" option in cluster attributes

can you help me, please?

Make sure the cluster is ahead of the skincluster in your deformation order?

...Probably a double transform, if it's parented into your rig.

I believe there's an "inherit transforms" option you can turn off in the attribute editor to get rid of this, among several other methods.

yes morganism, I had not thought at the order. I made as you say and it's work!

seven6ty, I keep your answer for an possibly other object crash. It's precious for the advanced rig.

thanks you friends.
