this is my first short
I made it in 1 year.it's far to be perfect, i know,so be indulgent, some anims are bad (except one or 2 :wip: made by another guy)next time i'll call some animators to help me...
the first movie was longer (15 mn) and too slow,so i decided to cut it and it's was hard to keep it coherent.
to be honest it was really too big for one guy..anyway, i hope you'll like it
made with 3dsmax,rendered with brazil, vray, and scanline.compositing with after effects and editing with vegas
file size 76 mo

in my opinion the film was a mix of good and ok...
i liked the scene shots...
the animation did feel stiff, i should know... :D
overall, i think you would've been better off focusing all that time spent on a much shorter and simpler short... but it's still nice for a one man project... just needs some touch-ups...

OMG I loved the lighting and texturing, but like the guy before me, the animation was off, not enough body movement, just alot of arms and legs by themselves
But man I wish I could light and texture like that

Wow, its umm, very nice to look at. The Mechanical animation is nice, but the human animation needs to be completely redone.
I can't really comment on the story, since I feel that it was like so many other Robot related films/animation out there.
Nice work though.

Well, the visuals is stunning, the cinematography is quite futuristic, but again...lack of good animation makes me see the whole thing as a lovely 3d presentation.
