I hope it's ok to post a question about shading here:

I installed ShaderLibrary. There are a bunch of stuff in it, like building, food, and glass. Can anybody teach me the basic steps to use the materials in the library. For example, I want to make a glass ball, how to assign the glass shader from library to the sphere model?

this is in maya's hypershade right?

Its been a while since i've used it, but i think you just go to the shader in the library you want to use, right click your mouse on it and IMPORT it into your scene. This will then add the node(s) to the hypershader materials window and you can assign it to your objects as normal.
