View Full Version : FBX SDK mesh deformation with skeleton's angle change

I'm trying to implement an IK driven FBX viewer to generate and display new poses of an FBX model with skeleton, mesh, and related links builded inside. I parse FBX model by Alias FBX SDK, and the reason why I choose fbx is it's ability of mesh deformation and the free sdk release. But the document about FBX SDK seems few on web. My major resources to study FBX SDK are the official "FBX SDK overview" and its example named "ViewScene."

Now, my question is how do I get and change the skeleton angles, and deform the mesh control points according to the new IK generated skeleton angles? Could any person give me some hint or offer some useful example code to go on?

Anyone else have experience with FBX? I only recently heard about it again.
