I am new to maxwell, very new.
I actaully dont have a clue how to do anything, HDR(MXI) especially.
I am using the beta version of maxwell, with C4D R9.5.
Can anyone help me?

Did you download the beta user manual?

Check the readme that comes with the C4D plugin.

Here's a brief rundown on what you need to do (at minimum):

* Create a target camera;
* give it a M~R camera tag;
* select the camera in the M~R plugin;
* also in the plugin, turn on physical sky or skylight;
* click the render button in the plugin.

That should open the M~R render window and rendering should commence.

Beyond that you'll want to assign M~R material tags, including emitter materials.

The camera settings work just like a real-world camera, so it helps to have a basic understanding of f-stops, shutter speeds, and their effect on dof and exposure.

I can't use the materials, even the c4d m's or the M~R mats. If i use the M~R tags in c4d i can influance the material, but all transperancy is gone. If i try to setup the materials in M~R studio i get no light into the scene. I have tried beta 1.2.2 and 1.0 RC4 both don't work.

What did i wrong???
