I have two problems - importing xfrog plants into vue infinate and 2) using them in an ecosystem

Any help would be appreciated

There you find a longer discussion about xFrog and Vue. There is no native import of xFrog in Infinite, but you can use a lot other formats - 3DS, obj etc. Try out what works best for you i would say.

To use them in Ecosystems you have to save them as Vue objects (vob) first and use those. But keep in mind that xFrog trees can be VERY detailed and therefore VERY heavy so you can get huge scenes when you use thousands of them. A mixture of high detailed ones for the foreground and lower resolution ones for the background can be a solution.

They work wonderfully in Vue. But as Wabe says, scenes can grow enormously in size when you use them. AND, rendering time can increase immensely.
