Hello, This a model of an HK Mp7. I modeled it 3 days ago and i'm currently trying to figure out how to make UV maps.

The model has 1892 Tris and 1166 Verts.

I Hope you like it, C&C are welcome as always.

This will be a fun texturing job! How are you doing with creating the UVs? You could try planar mapping the most flat surfaces at first, and cylindrical map the barrel and hand-grip (could probably planar this too ultimately). You could also try an automatic mapped texture and draw on that.

I`m building an M16 Rifle, I`m trying to texture it as I`m doing it so that I don't have a huge texture job at the end, but it`s very hard mentally to do this :)

With what did you render the weapon with? I've always wonderd that sense it looks like all weapon modelers seem to render with brazil or something :p .

i rendered using the scanline renderer in 3ds max . I used the clay render method.

Nice model, this weapon has a weird look, but the model is pretty good :)
