View Full Version : Brigantine Ship - Time Passer

I worked this up while I had some spare time at work. Not trying to be to realistic just looking to make a cool looking ship. Not sure if I'll ever finish it off but this is what I came up with. The logo on the sails is actually a logo of a design firm (design chapel) but I thought it went well with this and since it was only for fun to pass the time not harm done. Textures are 128x128 or 64x64 or under. PS2 spec.

About 33K at this point. Still plaining to add some more detail on the deck like barrels and such. Still a bit of UV mapping and stuff on the hull. But it will be awhile till I get to it.

Sorry about that, not sure why the image stopped working. Think its fixed now. I'll post some larger shots and a wire later. The file is at work and I wont be back there till after the holdidays to get it.

investigated and found your using it from your blogger webspace, you cant do that (i have expirience there) so open a photobucket and reupload there.

thats awesome, whats the tri count?
i lov the semi-disney proportions. might want to use some specular mapping to add a surreal shine to it

that is sweet, I love the stretchy style of it, looks like it would fit in perfectly with just about any game of that type. I would also like to see some higher res shots of this magnificent vessel (btw whats its name? they usually have cool names like "the diversity") :D

Poseidons Torah is her name.. Dont know why I decided on that one. But yeah, thanks for the comments, I'll post some higher res images soon.

love the elk on the mast and all those sail fittings (don't know what they're called but they must've been a pain to set up).
