I started this guy for the Freaks and Geeks Game Art Challenge a while ago, but never finished due to school and other factors. I'm planning on modeling and texturing him completely, but we'll see how that turns out. I have a Max class in the spring, so I might use him for a project in that by importing him from Lightwave if I've not finished by then.

I realize that the mesh is pretty heavy in some places, but I think I want to model the entire body before I start optimizing. It's at 598 polygons right now.

So, any suggestions on... anything? Edgeloops, general topology, shapes, etc.? Any ideas for the inside of the ear? Feel free to critique (or criticize or whatever) harshly.

Hey, I made a similar character once. :) I think I still have my turn arounds somewhere if you want me to post them. THey may help ya out.

Right. I've started on the body, though it's rather slow going since I'm never made an entire character before. It's at 1090 polygons.

I'm obviously not going strictly by the concept because there isn't much there, but I've always imagined this guy as having a rather round body and kind of skinny limbs. We'll see how that works out. I'vs still got to thin out his legs, or I've got to taper them very severely. That's going to be interesting.
