Top notch assets you've got in that mod.

As for the light, grime looks to be missing from the actual light part. You've got one hell of a battery, though. :}

Overall, it looks awesome. :thumbsup:

itīs looking great! but just as nibbuls told you, a little bit of dirt on the lights and surrounding metal bars would be nice.

i love all your models btw :D

checked your site and saw some really neat updates.

Thanks for the comments!
I also thought about what you said, the lampcase not being grimm enough.
But allow me to explain: 1st off all, these lights are not "old" like the rest of the mod, they are Vanguard lightposts they take with them to "areas" where the alien has been located. Since the parts of the city are without power. And since the Vanguard was founded to track/kill aliens they are not that old and their equipment is also rather new. So, they can use older batteries from wrecked cars on their new lampposts. And don't we have new cars now that have an old battery in it, or old cars with new batteries. So I though what the hell. :)

A cage infront of the lamps is something that would have beennice yes, I forgot :/
And my texturemap = full, so I can't add anymore stuff :)

Here is a variation of the small lamppost, made into a big one they drop with their helicopters:

(I used the same texturemap, so it will only have to load it once for each map)

The problem with the lamps is that they look way too clean. Even if they are new, the people who moved them there sure touched dirty surfaces and then touched these lamps or they let one fall on the ground or they made a scratch while installing them.... atm. and IMO these grey lamps have no story at all.

Another thing ... these lightcones somehow disturbing me... it looks a bit too focused in a direction for neonlights... but maybe thats the perspective. ?

i agree with former speaker, grime is nice :p
also, fluorescent lamps emit a greenish light, not yellow. very bright,desaturated green, not alien green. ;)
