View Full Version : How to make some holiday materials - jelly, crystal, glitter, shimmer, honey, pearly?

Dear C4D users, could you please advise how to make or where to get the following materials, I did numerous searches here, but couldn't find exactly what I needed:

1. Crystal like in Baccarat jewelry (reference below)

2. Jello like in the following pic

3. Honey like in the following picture (a bit cartoony honey, also how do you think - how was it modeled in the pic below)

4. Gummy Bears (reference below)

5. Shimmery material (reference below)

6. Creamy pearly material (exactly like in the eyeshadows in the reference pic below)

7. Glittery sparkling material (reference below) Not metallic glitter!

8. Glittery jelly (like in this glue bottel, if it's possible at all)

9. Glittery plastic (reference pic below)

Thanks very much in advance, desperately need them for a greeting card project ;)

I suggest you have a look here: they don't have exactly what you need you can at least download something similar and try to learn how it was made.

some of them are advanced materials - using SSS as well. Do you know the basics? Especially the Gammy Bears are transparent plastics with SSS, dispression reflection, refraction and caustics! These are not the easiest thing to master. I do not won't to sound pesimistic but just want to let you know that first learn basics in case you skipped that part.

good luck Olda and Merry Xmas!
