Good first post, lots of style and character for being at the triangle count.

My first impression crit would be more shading on the texture overall. For example, The back top of the boots, on the helm above the ears and on top of the head have those great hot highlights. Carrying that level of shading all over the body would take this character to the next level. This would help the sword a lot too.

Anyway, looks good!

This is pritty killer!!!:thumbsup: But I agree with GradiusCancer that it could benefit alot from more shading and I also think adding some of the details like the folding on the dark cloth that i see in the concept art would rock.

Also if you dont mind I would love to see the texture map.

thanks a English is not so good ..but still can understand what U said..
Here is my texture map
I want to use it in VIRTOOLS. But the engine seems not surpport the spec. map....
so I just paint it in color there is no shading at all and just a little bit self glowing.

Hmmm. As I recall, the shader pack for Virtools 3 should be able to do that spec mapping.

Nice model by the way. Good texture, and a nice pose. Keep up the good work.

as others have said, get painting those black areas, they need to show th clothe folds like the concept image,
then you will be onto a winner

The style of concept sketching and modeling/texturing both remind me a lot of Sephiloss from that's about the biggest compliment I know how to give for low polys heheh ;) Just keep cranking them out, work up the details/colour variation on your texturing and there's no stopping you I think. Great effort so far man.

Dont have much to crit on the model, maybe give some "material" feel to your textures, i dont mean putting dirt all over.

Sketches are great, cant wait to see the new project.

Ha ha augh, i totally agree man, first thing I thought to myself when I saw his work was.. wow, we gotta mini X Cloud here.

Your 2D art is OUTSTANDING, your modeling style is very refreshing as well man, all i can say is, I want to see more, cause you have MAD skill.
