I put an initial layer of color down on my original sketch. Any comments? I am finding myself having a spot of difficulty using color properly (using the right hue / stauration to achieve the values that I find so easy to get in strictly B&W).
Any thoughts or critisizms are mostr welcome. Thanks!

Thanks Monster-
Any thoughts on color scheme? I'm trying to go for a concept art kind of feel, not too refined. I like seeing brush strokes and linework and don't have the patience to do the super-smooth rendering that many on these boards can do.
SO I was trying to keep it simple, but I wonder if maybe it was most effective as just a simple black and white "sketch"

Hey Daniel,
Are you going to detail it? Hope so :)
And for your next project : try to make your painting more dynamic by changing the point of view and more background or something like that.
Maybe it's a good idea to jump to my thread wich is linked in my signature.

I like the concept stage it is in - the line flowa re nice to see and it helps to convey the look of fur, without detailing every strand.
