Hi there, this will be my first post on cgtalk, so be gentle.
Anywho I was hoping I could get some feedback on this character, current poly count is 3507, I have 4k. First time, basically looking for anything meaningful, IE wasted geometry, poor edge flow, boring concept... ;) you name it.
Thanks in advance.
Anyway for any of you who happen to have experience working on games in any way, shape, or form i'd be intrested in hearing anythng you have to say, I'm currently in school and, games are really my passion, I love creating creatures/landscapes. If you know how this facet of the industry works feel free to tell me what would or wouldn't happen, either in private message or here on the forums.

first of all welcome in cgtalk.model looks really good.i like the mesh flow and it reminds me about a character names dessan in a starwars game. one thing i want to say about that skirt type thing. it would be better i think if u cut its length may be till his knees. other wise model looks solid. are u planning to normals map it? keep it up.:thumbsup:

You'll need extra edge loops in the backs of the elbows for deformation. Also, he doesn't have much form or shape for chest under his armor or legs under his dress. A clear front wires view and close-up on the face would help a lot here too. Looks like a good start nevertheless.

Thankyou for the welcome, and as for normal mapping as I've said new, new to CG in general, but then I suppose it gives me something to research over christmas, and yes I would love to.

This is a good start, but I have a feeling this one will really come alive with a well executed texture. Get to work laying out the UVs on that sucker and show us his potential with a nice skin! :blush:
