Hi,
I've been very busy with work for a while now, si I decided to relax and do some personal stuff again. It's fun to model without concept ideas or drawings. I model as the ideas come to mind. Nice to have absolute freedom while doing this.

I'll be working on the arms next.
Have a look and let me know if you think my creative thinking is working or has gone down the drain.

I find I get a feeling about a piece of art as I'm working on it and know pretty early on if it's going to turn out good or not. Looking at this so far I'd say it's going to be pretty bloody good, everything seems to sit together so well.

Looks like your creative thinking is nowhere near the drain. Nice work so far! I wish I had more time doing personal projects.

normally I don't like WIP because it's painful to watch, but this looks really cool, and I love robot stuff.

I would love to see it move someday and see all the joints and such work.

keep posting!

Absolutely beatutiful, superb work, though I must admit I preferred the yellow panelling to the all chrome look.

excellent update. It's grow legs! I agree that I'm not into the all chrome look. The yellow had some nice relief in it...

keep it up!

Yeah, finish this thing up. It's too good to be just sitting idle on your drive. Find some time for it. That's gonna look wild animated.

Here is a quick update. I'm almost done with the texturesfor the environment. The animation is almost done as well.

not sure what you mean with "softer", but the floor is texture-mapped. The scale is a bit off at the moment.
In the image, the floor panel behind him is cracked, because of a jump-in part in the animation.
It is more clear once you see the animation. I think the bad compression on the image does not help either.

thanks for the comment.
