Wow!

I say they did a great job on the teaser...reminds me of a Silent Hill intro. I hope the movie keeps the same tones, and themes!

I love the film look of the trailer. Effectively creepy as well, should be interesting.

Wow, I really know too much about this game series. I recognized the music as being from the first game, it's called "Die" and it plays whenever this giant worm attacks you in the mall. I wonder if they put that in?. I've heard that the music will be all original though, even though there's no reason they had to do that. The first game's soundtrack is phenomenal, and I reccommend it to all of you (The second is okay, avoid the 3rd and 4th). It plays as one long piece split up over dozens of tracks, definately Akira Yamaoka's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_Yamaoka) best stuff.

This is the first time I think a movie based off of a videogame has a real chance of getting it right. Usually so much is mucked around with that it's almost pure luck if the end result even vaguely resembles the source material. The look, the sound, everything is dead on. Definitely looking forward to this.

p.s. best track on the original game's ost was She. :)

Dear sweet Jeebus, that was probably the most awesome video game movie trailer I have ever seen.

*waits patiently for the movie to come out*

Looks like they actually have the style of the games down pretty well. Hope the final product turns out the same way.

Now as long as they don't make a video game of the movie, we should be right! :D

And then a card/board game adaptation of the "Silent Hill: The Movie" video game, which would somehow make its way into any future Silent Hill games as a mini-game... I think I've just gone crosseyed...

Or a Silent Hill action figure and Happy Meal.

Kung-fu action Pyramid Head! And the bag could be all stained and rusty and stuff.

And the bag could be all stained and rusty and stuff.

Well, it IS McDonalds, so no change would be needed... :D
