Hi all !
I wondered if Combustion can do morphing like After Effects and its Reshape effect ??

no, sorry. you need to buy a plug in if you want to to morphing in combustion

Unfortunatley C* can't do morphing as of yet, i'm pertty sure that the next version will have the grid morphing tool and others.

For now you will either need elastic reality or a work around.

What you can try is having a layer with you footage and apply a displace operator to that. On top of your footage add a paint layer and apply white paint strokes with the make curve button pressed and a soft brush.

go back to the displace operator and choose the paint layer and set it to alpha or luminance.

set the paint layer opacity to zero and there you go.

i would suggest working with the screen split in two so you can see the top level comp and the paint window so that you can move the control points of your strokes easily.
